Horrible Experience

Posted 14-Mar-2016
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Everything.
Location: The location is good. That is probably a bad thing because some people decide based on that and regret later! JUST LIKE ME
This was by far the most horrible hotel experience I've ever had in my life. Really!! I actually spent the few hours of my stay thinking if I should sleep in my car or not but the area didn't look very safe at night. Once I opened the door of that dirty run-down lobby I knew that I made a mistake. THAT HOTEL IS DIRTY. The room was even worse. Do yourself a favor and bring in flip-flops because the carpet is terrible. The bathroom has pee smell all over it and the CLOTH shower curtain has turned almost black because of all the filth. The bed was not in a better condition. Whatever you do, please do not look under the bed or behind the headboard. You will feel sick. I drove for 7 hours to get there at around 1am and believe me, I could not sleep at all. Not even for 1 second. Dirty sheets and pillows with horrible smell. I always book hotels based on Expedia ratings but this one was very disappointing. I never write reviews and this is probably the first time I review a hotel in my life but I just couldn't resist. Expedia, you should remove this hotel from your list. REALLY REALLY DISAPPOINTED

Pleasant Experience

Posted 26-Feb-2016 on Hotels
I stayed here because it was reasonably priced and not very far from the Empire State Plaza. The #10 bus takes, which is right in front of the hotel, gets you there in about 20 minutes. The staff was pleasant, the breakfast was reasonable, and the room was comfortable. I would certainly stay here again.

Noisy!!! front desk is friendly, but the hotel looks very old and very noisy!!!You can hear walking sounds from upstairs very clearly!!! We were there for NY bar exam, but could not get a good sleep!!! Not recommend for exam takers.

When we came in receive a non clean room. So we changes room. The second one was better.very loud knocking a 8am the first morning in the hallway. Fire alarm start during the evening with the light flashing in the rooms. Knocking at our door the second morning at 8am too. Not a quiet place but the bed was very confortable.

Good value for the price. Pets are welcome.

Posted 23-Feb-2016
Pros: It was clean. Not expensive. Near shopping and eatery. Offered me the opportunity to rest. The staff was very helpful.
Cons: The cleaning service for guests of multiple nights.
Location: It is situated on a major artery across from SUNY at Albany. Downtown Albany is about 20 minutes away by car. A shopping center is 10 to 15 min away.
The stay was good. I was really appreciative of being able to bring in my dog as I could not have left him behind. The manager and staff were very understanding of my need to have the pet with me, and did offer some good and useful advice.

Affordable and clean

Quick stay for an event at The College of St. Rose. Room was clean, comfortable and very affordable. I've stayed here a few times and it's always fine. Breakfast isn't gourmet, but it's free and fine.

Unbeatable Price

Posted 18-Feb-2016
Pros: Price, cleanliness
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Central with plenty of shopping, restaurants etc nearby.
For less then sixty bucks including tax a spent a comfortable night here. The breakfast was nothing much but there is a Starbucks right down the street.
