Directly located on pristine Half Moon Bay, Akumal, this 6 bedroom home has it all. A large oceanside swimming pool, private beach area and newly completed pier compliment the expansive outdoor living and dining areas. Inside, discerning guests will find ample space in the kitchen, living and dining areas and bedrooms. Villa Kokobeach is strategically positioned on the edge of Half Moon Bay. The space MAIN VILLA ONLY rate of usd$475-500/night up to 4 people using 2 bedrooms in Main Villa only. Guest choice of 2 bedrooms. The other 2 bedrooms are locked off. Extra person pays an additional of usd$90/night. 5-6 people choice of 3 bedrooms. 7-8 people we open the 4 bedrooms in Main House. From 9 to 10 people we open Main House and Pent House (5 bedrooms). From 11 to 18 people we open Main House, Pent House and Studio (6 bedrooms). Any rooms not used in the reservation will be locked off. The Villa is never shared with any other parties in order to offer a great private place for you and your group. Villa Kokobeach's brand new pier is our newest attraction, a great place to snorkel or launch kayaks for exploring the bay. The pier is also an incredibly romantic place to sit in the evenings with your favorite cocktail and watch as a million stars come out into the Caribbean night sky. Whether you are planning a family vacation, or just holidaying with friends, Kokobeach has something for all!!! The enormous faux marble kitchen complete with all the mod cons, a breakfast bar that seats 6, a great dining table with room for 10. The living area is furnished with a large comfortable crescent shaped sofa and plenty of fun retro beanbags for sitting back and watching either satellite smart TV on the large flat screen or one of the great selection of over 200 DVD movies, and also now the option to connect via bluetooth to your devices to enjoy your favorite TV program or movie. The living and dining areas overlook the Caribbean Sea. On the main level there is a well appointed guest bedroom with ocean and pool views furnished with 2 queen sized beds, sliding doors out to the pool area, and an ensuite bathroom. Doors open towards private or semi-private terraces to a panoramic ocean view of the Caribbean Sea. Another large ground floor bedroom is furnished with a King sized bed, a double sofa bed, 2 cribs, ensuite bathroom, and also sliding doors with ocean view. Each room in Villa Kokobeach is unique. They follow the same contemporary Mexican decorative trend, but they all have details that make them special. Upstairs there is a big master bedroom with a king sized bed, ensuite bathroom with ocean view bath tub, and sliding doors onto its own private terrace with wonderful views over the bay! Just along the hall is a small children's bedroom with 2 bunk beds and its own bathroom with shower right next door. All of the bedrooms at Villa Kokobeach are air conditioned and have a guest safe and a locking closet to keep your valuables secure. The Penthouse is located on the upper floor with its own separate stairwell and exterior entrance. The penthouse is a one bedroom apartment with a king sized bed and queen futon in the ensuite bedroom, comfortable sofas in the lounge area, 2 of them can convert into sofa beds, a dining area with seating for 4, a kitchenette (microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator), and 2 wonderful private terraces giving views both over the bay to the east and the lush mayan jungle to the west. Below the Penthouse, again with its own private exterior entrance, is the ground floor Studio. The restaurant 100 yards down the beach was our best meal of the trip (close 2nd was Luis' Tacos and Pasta in the town across the bridge...they setup a table in the road which was awesome but BYOB). The views were amazing! pool, water toys, sea kayaks, private dock all added to the ability for children and adults of multiple ages to enjoy the vacation. Bryan and Christian were very accommodating and available hosts. The house and property were even nicer than the photos. The location was excellent, just a few doors down from our favorite restaurant Buenavida, where we walked for happy hour and dinner multiple times. The bedrooms were all air conditioned but the common area is not and can get a little hot and humid during the day. The kitchen is very well stocked with an outside gas barbecue. The house has beautiful views and you can see the sunset and sunrise from the pier. This is the only pier on half moon bay and it was perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze. There is such great snorkeling right in our backyard! We loved the hammocks in the palapa and visiting with Pancho (the resident iguana). The house has everything you need and the bedrooms are very comfortable. It does get hot in the living room and kitchen as there is no a/c in these areas. Bryan was very responsive and super helpful. Maria the housekeeper and the maintenance staff did a great job. Our favorite part was having Chef Carlos prepare our amazing dinners. This was a truly great vacation! ##### Natalie P. Bryan helped us arrange a bunch of activities and they were all magnificient. If you haven't been to this area you should know it is extremely safe and quiet. A 5 minute walk brings you to a handful of very good restauarants and shops. A short drive brings you to many great cenotes and XCaret parks. If this place is available- book it! ##### Derek S. The bay and grounds were beautiful! The house was wonderful! It Looked just as pictured with beautiful Mexican tile and furnishings. Bryan was easy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. Conchi (the house keeper) and Carlos (the grounds keeper) were very kind and thoughtful. They both worked very hard to keep the house, pool and dock clean for us. The house is walking distance to a couple restaurants and some shopping.
