On the way up to our room we noticed trash everywhere. Not to mention the shopping carts on the second floor where our room was. As we were about to get into our room, my son noticed that the room next to us had a broken window. It was at that point we felt unsafe. As we were leaving we noticed police officers in the parking lot adjacent to the hotel, with light on. We did not feel safe.

Rooms where so dirty had to change room about three times before we actually got a clean decent room one room had mold all over the bathroom ceiling the other wasn’t clean at all so we had to wait both times to check in and had to check in at 7 pm and 5 pm for the other check in time is at 3

I couldn't sleep at all. Police was outside my door along with the ambulance. My room was next door to the Lobby so i heard people knocking, coming and going all night. Cars pulling up in front of my room all night it sucked.

We were woken up at 1 am in the morning from the person at the front desk asking for a receipt for our rooms and we really don't appreciate it next time it happens we will give you a poor review we would like a refund for our rooms or half of because of the problem that we had this morning with the guy at the front desk knocking at our door asking for a receipt

The first room that I was given was occupied by 2 very upset naked people. The second room had an open door and the room is filled with someone else's belongings. The third room had a TV with a smashed screen. I was hoping to watch Monday Night Football. The manager gave me permission to swap it with the TV in another room. Upon taking a shower and drying off a long hair ended up in my mouth! I then took a good luck at that towel and it was filthy dirty, obviously used and put back!!! What a disaster, I am totally grossed out and want my money back!!!

The price booking was alright. Arrived and someone with the same name checked in and our reservation was cancelled and had to wait and have it fixed to only have the stay cost more. Walked into a smoke free room that smell as if it held a smoking party. The sheets and comforters were stained. Had to visit the Walmart next to us and bought bedding and stuff to remove the smell in the room. The bed was like laying on plywood could feel the springs coming up in it.Normally stay at Hilton’s and such first time in 25plus years in anything else and don’t see us staying in anything but Hiltons and upper level hotels. The cost of Walmart and our room we really didn’t save and money and had to keep spraying the room to keep the smell down. People outside talking and walking around all hours of the night being loud had a feeling of unease at times.

Didnt have a king bed i paid for. Lady at desk is disgruntled and rude. Room is outdated. No fire alarm. Door has split in wood where its previously been kicked in. Staff acts inconvenienced by having to do their jobs. Worst red roof ive been in. The red roof in north canton belden village is fantastic and this one is a huge let down by comparison.

Maintenance Issues in Akron
The rust stains in the bathtub are disgusting. The gouge in the floor near the TV should be repaired. The "smoke alarm" was a pair of loose wires coming out of a hole in the wall. The heat wasn't working. The deadbolt sticks so that you have to fiddle with the handle to eb able to close the door.

First to start wad the room i couldnt get into so the attendant moved me to another room and when i got to that room it was missing the tv,safe,luggage rack and towels i again got switched this timer next door i get in and again dirty everywhere threw floors the tae the bus

The floors were dirty and the chair, window sill and mattress had kid marker stains and cracker crumbs were in the chair. The price was under $65 out the door so complaining about anything more than a working lock and bed with clean sheets seems bougie.

Hotels.com says the latest check-in is 3am but the property will refuse to let you check-in after 2am. We had to sleep in our rental car for 4.5 hours until the morning shift came and they were "able to do transactions" again. Then, the room we booked "wasn't available" even though we had booked for 2 nights and no one else grabbed our room between 3am-7am, so they gave us a room that reeked of smoke (and the pillows!) and had 2 smaller beds instead of 1 large bed. The front desk staff were at least polite.

Less than what you deserve for the money
I was not looking for much nor expecting much. It was a cheap motel for a place to lay your head on the way to a bigger road trip however there should still be some creature fcomforts lke a pillow and a show curtain. Our room had no shower curtain. The whole place smelled of smoke. I am a smoker myself and it was THAT bad. Our smoke detector was wrapped in plastic so not set of the detector from prior guests. The whole place was shadey as hell and the staff were beyond rude. First and last time at a red roof inn.

The electronic door lock reset automatically each day so my key card had to be reset each evening. I was not informed of this when I checked in. There was no hair dryer in rhe room and no coffee maker. Coffee was available in the lobby but it was barely drinkable. The light above the face and hand bowl did not work and the outlet on the wall with the light switch did not work. The toilet seat was loose and came off when it was lifted. The fan in the bathroom was inoperative, and obviously had been for a long time based on its appearance. This Red Roof Inn certainly did merit a two-star rating. I will avoid Red Roof Inns on future trips.
