Our room was booked (& paid in full) a month ahead. 24 hours before our stay, I recv'd an email stating that we could check in 24 hours early, but the system couldn't find my confirmation/booking #, we proceeded anyway. Upon our arrival, the front desk clerk never greeted us & spoke very low if not mumbling, stated that the hotel was overbooked & the King sized bed we paid for was no longer available due to a big party coming in earlier that day. Because there was a rainstorm, we didn't arrive until 9:30pm (we traveled by car). Not that it should of mattered, considering our room was paid in full. We explained our need for a larger bed to which the clerk very dryly responded with their was nothing he could do. With it being so late & such a long drive, I digressed and decided to stay anyway. The hotel is under renovation so there were signs that read "pardon our dust," & we understood that, but only 1 of 3 elevators worked. With several others waiting for the elevator as well, it seemingly took what felt like forever to reach us & get us to the 5th floor. Upon entering our room, the TV was left on and blaring loudly, The battery back to our bedroom door lock was missing & the wiring exposed. The remote to the TV was also missing it's backing & the batteries were exposed. We were left with one towel & it was stained & dirty, and recieved attitude when we requested a new & additonal one for the 2 of us. Entire staff was rude and made us feel unwelcome. Will not stay again!
