The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Akita , across the street from the Akita Kubota Castle /Senshu Park. It is walkable to shops and restaurants and to the Castle. The restaurant on the top floor near the bar had fantastic food. The Tepanyaki hot pot dish was extraordinary. The restaurant has views of the castle and park. The hotel rooms had twin beds that were fairly hard and took some getting use to. The room and bathroom need brighter lights. The bed linens were comfortable. The restaurant downstairs serves a full buffet breakfast. More food choices including omelettes and eggs prepared any way would have been appreciated. Although coffee is included in the breakfast, Cappucino's are available for an additional price. Other hotels include the Cappucino's in the price of the breakfast buffet. Staff was gracious and helpful.
