It's right on the river and you can hear and view it as you soak in the onsen or as you're enjoying tea in your room. The staff tried their best to help us in english. Between that and Google we were able to figure things out. The only disappointment is that meals were included but we were never told that we had to reserve and same day reservations are not permitted. Unfortunately cause I had heard really good things about their restaurant. We had to settle for a meal at the bar which was lacklustre. But otherwise everything was great and yukata as well as all toiletries and slippers are included.
