A peaceful retreat for multi-generational families or small groups of friends to spend quality time together. A beautiful large 20 foot pontoon with a 25 HP four stroke Mercury outboard motor with tilt and trim, a fishing boat with trolling motor, and 2 kayaks are for guest use seasonally at no additional charge! Note: 20 Foot Pontoon is designed for cruising, fishing, and swimming. It is NOT rigged for tubing or skiing. This 100-acre private lake has NO PUBLIC OR PRIVATE ACCESS and is deep with up to 42' of water and 2 miles of natural shoreline. GUESTS CAN USE AT NO CHARGE, our 20' pontoon boat, 14' fishing boat with electric trolling motor and 2 kayaks THIS INCLUDES THE GAS! Coast Guard approved life vests are provided in all sizes. Explore the lake/woods, gravel roads and biking! While there is no sandy beach, a wonderful public, sandy swimming beach is a short drive away on Pelican Lake with clear, shallow water for blocks out into the lake. We do have a swimming platform anchored in 25' of water (no weeds!) out from the dock and 2 kiddie pools for toddlers, and the rear of the pontoon boat is also equipped with a pull down swimming ladder so swimming from the pontoon is also a breeze. Notes: Swimming dock brought in mid to late September. Pontoon, dock, kayaks, and fishing boat brought in late October. WINTER:Fire pit, fire pit furniture, Gas Grill, and deck furniture not available winter season starting November 1st. Weber charcoal grill will be available on deck - bring your own lighter fluid and charcoal. Snow Removal - Driveway is plowed and sidewalk shoveled by snow removal contractor if over 2 inch snowfall. Deck and hot tub cover snow clearing may be tenant responsibility, depending on snowfall timing. Simply push snow off front of deck with shovel or brooms provided (no lifting required) Use broom only to push snow off hot tub cover and not shovel as shovel will tear the $800 cover and I do not want to charge you back for that. A beautiful, AIR CONDITIONED, CHALET LAKE HOME awaits your visit to the Brainerd Lakes Area. It is situated near Aitkin, MN on Sullivan Lake just over 2 hours North of the Twin Cities. The home has 1,900 finished square feet on three levels, a 22' vaulted ceiling of knotty pine, and three stories of windows overlooking the large deck and lake. The home is very private, wooded and without nearby neighbors. Take a look at the aerial video of the property here on the VRBO site. The home sleeps 10 in beds with 2 private bedrooms plus a dormitory-style sleeping loft. With the amenities of home-- a washer and dryer, bedding and towels, a kitchen fully stocked with cookware and dishes, a microwave and 2 TV’s and Blue Ray players, and a gas grill outside on the deck. Note: Gas Grill and deck furniture not available winter season. Weber Charcoal grill is available in winter. The home is equipped with 250kbps high speed fiber internet for fast browsing and streaming speeds for both TV’s and your devices. Additionally, the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area is a few miles down the road in Crosby, MN. There you’ll find miles of the best mountain biking and hiking in MN, as well as a beautiful public swimming beach on Serpent Lake. Shopping, restaurants and other recreation are close by in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Fall is also a great time to visit us with still warm days and crisp autumn nights. Minnesota's fall colors are second to none. New for this year, I’m opening the place for winter rental as well due to requests. Enjoy skiing and all the nearby snowmobile trails. The hot tub and sauna were the perfect touch and the view is beautiful. Everything was in great condition and the cabin was cozy, especially with the wonderful wood fireplace. We took advantage of the snowshoes and went on the trail conveniently located at the end of the driveway. Aitkin had some adorable antique shops and the brewpub in town had great food. Loved having the pontoon boat available. Boat instructions were perfect and easy to follow. Caught bass, perch, bluegill and crappie. Weather was cooler than expected, so fire pit was enjoyed! Check out the Block North Brewery and Restaurant. We considered it a bonus find on our trip. Awesome food, beer and extensive menu. A must do in Aitkin! The pontoon was a huge hit, and there was plenty to do for the whole family. The home was comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed. We ran in to the nice cleaning lady on the way in, she was super friendly and walked me around a little even wanted to make sure the gas for the pontoon was topped off so we would not have to refill it. The pontoon, fishing boat and kayaks were a nice perk. While on the lake a very nice local gave us two tubs for wax worms and took us to a fishing hot spot. We were able to catch fish every cast or every other cast. We caught perch, crappies, bass, northern pike, and bull head.I would highly recommend Dave’s cabin, his instructions and suggestions of what to bring was very useful. Thank you for renting your home to us, we made great memories. Would rent again. ##### KAZOUA Y. It was a nice, quiet property, perfect for our family trip. The couple things we weren't thrilled about: we didn't find refill garbage bags for bathroom garbage. Not all of the burners worked on the stove. Some of the dishes were dirty. The cutting board was terrible. The couches need to be updated, because they couldn't be sat on without the cushions sliding off. ##### Meredith B.
