A peaceful retreat for multi-generational families or small groups of friends to spend quality time together. A beautiful large 20 foot pontoon with a 25 HP four stroke Mercury outboard motor with tilt and trim, a fishing boat with trolling motor, and 2 kayaks are for guest use seasonally at no additional charge! Note: 20 Foot Pontoon is designed for cruising, fishing, and swimming. It is NOT rigged for tubing or skiing. This 100-acre private lake has NO PUBLIC OR PRIVATE ACCESS and is deep with up to 42' of water and 2 miles of natural shoreline. GUESTS CAN USE AT NO CHARGE, our 20' pontoon boat, 14' fishing boat with electric trolling motor and 2 kayaks THIS INCLUDES THE GAS! Coast Guard approved life vests are provided in all sizes. Explore the lake/woods, gravel roads and biking! While there is no sandy beach, a wonderful public, sandy swimming beach is a short drive away on Pelican Lake with clear, shallow water for blocks out into the lake. We do have a swimming platform anchored in 25' of water (no weeds!) out from the dock and 2 kiddie pools for toddlers, and the rear of the pontoon boat is also equipped with a pull down swimming ladder so swimming from the pontoon is also a breeze. Notes: Swimming dock brought in mid to late September. Pontoon, dock, kayaks, and fishing boat brought in late October. WINTER:Fire pit, fire pit furniture, Gas Grill, and deck furniture not available winter season starting November 1st. Weber charcoal grill will be available on deck - bring your own lighter fluid and charcoal. Snow Removal - Driveway is plowed and sidewalk shoveled by snow removal contractor if over 2 inch snowfall. Deck and hot tub cover snow clearing may be tenant responsibility, depending on snowfall timing. Simply push snow off front of deck with shovel or brooms provided (no lifting required) Use broom only to push snow off hot tub cover and not shovel as shovel will tear the $800 cover and I do not want to charge you back for that. A beautiful, AIR CONDITIONED, CHALET LAKE HOME awaits your visit to the Brainerd Lakes Area. It is situated near Aitkin, MN on Sullivan Lake just over 2 hours North of the Twin Cities. The home has 1,900 finished square feet on three levels, a 22' vaulted ceiling of knotty pine, and three stories of windows overlooking the large deck and lake. The home is very private, wooded and without nearby neighbors. Take a look at the aerial video of the property here on the VRBO site. The home sleeps 10 in beds with 2 private bedrooms plus a dormitory-style sleeping loft. With the amenities of home-- a washer and dryer, bedding and towels, a kitchen fully stocked with cookware and dishes, a microwave and 2 TV’s and Blue Ray players, and a gas grill outside on the deck. Note: Gas Grill and deck furniture not available winter season. Weber Charcoal grill is available in winter. The home is equipped with 250kbps high speed fiber internet for fast browsing and streaming speeds for both TV’s and your devices. Golf at one of the many courses around, or spend an evening at the Mille Lacs Casino just 30 minutes away. Additionally, the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area is a few miles down the road in Crosby, MN. There you’ll find miles of the best mountain biking and hiking in MN, as well as a beautiful public swimming beach on Serpent Lake. Shopping, restaurants and other recreation are close by in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Fall is also a great time to visit us with still warm days and crisp autumn nights. A quiet cabin off the lake, we saw deer and lots of birds. We heard moose and other animals across lake. The sunrise over the lake was beautiful. My son loves to fish so we spent a lot of time on the pontoon. We caught a ton of fish, and kept 10 for a meal. A limetless supply of 7-10in Perch, smaller Bass, Bullhead, and a few nice Sunfish. Did not know about this quiet little lake. Very well-maintained, well-equipped year-round cabin / home. Was especially cold during our stay, but cabin heated up very nicely. Lake maybe not visible during summer months as per other reviews, but great view in the winter! Great location from which to head to Crosby, Cross Lake, Emily & Outing. The pontoon was a pretty fantastic thing. Just love being out water for a spin around the lake or to drop a few lines and catch some fish. The cabin has lots of space, the lake is a bit weedy by the dock but we took the pontoon out and swam/floated in the lake. The swimming platform was so fun for the kids to jump off of. The best well stocked rental we have EVER stayed in. Extra towels, bedding, kitchen was amazing. Very private yet not too far from town if you needed anything. We were 2 families with teenage kids and had a wonderful time at this cabin. Cabin is very spacious and equipped with everything you may need or want for your stay. Pantoon was a huge plus. We really enjoyed the pontoon boat watching the wildlife with pelicans, swans, and loons adding to the wooded beauty with no other boats. Fishing was mostly perch and catfish along with one Northern. A wet spring made the mosquitoes challenging but all the more reason to be on the boat in the lake with a breeze. Beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked. The property worked great for what we needed and given when we booked it. If I had any critiques it would be the distance from town and other attractions (although this was very clearly communicated upfront), And the lake was quite small but the pontoon was a great amenity and ultimately the selling point.
