Just 2 hours from Minneapolis, you’ll enjoy this heavily wooded property perfectly located in the heart of Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area--one of the country's top mountain biking destinations, and year-round recreation that's only 1 mile from Cruser's Kettle bike trail. The 3,500 square foot home boasts 4 bedrooms plus a bunk room in the lower level (total number of beds accommodate 14 guests), 3 bathrooms and plenty of bright gathering spaces with endless lake views. Sleeping areas in the lower level are dark and quiet for the ultimate relaxation. While we think you'll enjoy the outdoors while you're here-- either boating, fishing, or swimming in Rabbit Lake, or biking, hiking or skiing at the nearby Cuyuna trails, you'll enjoy taking in the scenery from inside this home with vaulted ceiling, floor-to-ceiling windows and beautiful views of Rabbit Lake from the kitchen, living room, master bedroom, bunk room, patio and decks. With endless, year-round outdoor activities from your doorstep, this beautiful home includes an indoor, infrared sauna and is stocked with games, books and puzzles for all ages. We provide kayaks, a Stand-up Paddleboard and ample floaties and water toys. The main floor living area is bright and open, with large dining table, kitchen with huge kitchen island, family room with 65-in The Frame TV, gas fireplace and attached, and all-season sun room with even more views and space for games, reading, relaxing. The high-end kitchen is fully stocked with every large and small appliance, cookware and serveware you'd need for entertaining a crowd. The open floorplan is perfect for entertaining with counter seating for 5 at the kitchen island, adjacent to the dining table that comfortably seats 8\. Also on the main floor is the master, primary bedroom and bathroom with walk-in closet, and free-standing soaking tub in addition to large shower and separate toilet room. The main floor also includes a laundry room, mudroom, and bathroom with large walk-in shower. As you go to the lower level, which has heated floors and a room with weights and infrared sauna, you'll find 2 large bedrooms with queen beds. A bright and well-lit lower level that also gets perfectly dark and cool for sleeping. The large, main living area has a massive, cloud couch and 65-in TV, with 4 built-in bunk beds for extra sleeping spaces. Above the garage is a beautiful bedroom with 4 twin beds, a game table (with removable poker table top) and a private deck with expansive and gorgeous views of the lake and woods. The heated garage is stocked with yard games (ladder golf, bocce ball, giant jenga, balls), a foosball table and pop-a-shot basketball game. Lake shore was sandy, but not a dry sandy beach, just to be clear. Water was warm, but not weed laden. Some reeds near by, but there was ample space to kayak and play in the water the other way. Fishing off the dock for kids just enjoying little fish for throw back. A few larger ones. Sleeping space great. Kitchen accommodations, dishes, appliances were exceptional. Lake toys were much appreciated and games in abundance. Was an all star place for our family! Best yet after 15 years. Kecia had great communication. It’s a priceless time to spend together each year. Overall, this beautiful place, we all agreed, was the absolute best trip ever and the best place ever, The location and overall experience was beyond our expectations. Not only was the house beautiful but so comfortable and accommodating and every detail was taken by the host to make our stay seamless and just special . There was no shortage on bath towels, showers were stocked with body wash and shampoo, the cabinets and cupboards were stocked with anything you would need to cook, or make coffee. The garage was set up with games and floating devices, the grill set up for BBQ, fire pit with wood, so many spots to hang outside and inside it was absolutely perfect. Crosby Minnesota Main Street was 10 minute drive, it had everything that you would need from a coffee shop cute stores Thai food pizza. This is a gem of a place. We will rent it again so grateful for this experience.
