We had plenty of room, the apartment was clean and had plenty of appliances if we were cooking full meals. Walking distance to every thing in Airlie. A terrace for sitting outside with a view of the water. A good sized swimming pool. Even though the place seemed busy, no noise disturbed us. So glad I found them on wotif.com. It's conveniently located, near both the town centre and Shute Harbour. The apartments are clean and modern, with all the standard facilities. They also have a wonderful swimming pool and barbecue area for guests to use. We also had lovely views of Shute Harbour from our apartment balcony. What made our stay extra special though was the attentive and personal service provided by Airlie Apartments Manager, Cathy. She is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and it is her friendly, personalised service that makes staying at Airlie Apartments an even better experience. The apartment was clean and the king size bed was awesome. The door locks on its own so make sure you take the key if you leave. We mentioned this to the caretaker as we had read it in reviews as well. She said she would have someone look at it. But why not have it fixed if it already had been mentioned more than once? We cooked with the well equipped kitchen. The 2 AC units kept us comfortable. The pool was beautiful and the view from the pool and shaded deck was gorgeous. The pictures online of the apartment and pool area arent as nice as it actually is. Oh, and the walk up the hill is tough, but not that long.
