"Our stay started with a serious access issue. We entered successfully at check-in using the provided code, but the lock later malfunctioned and we were unable to re-enter the property. Reaching the owner took considerable time, and when we finally connected, the suggested workarounds for getting back in were impractical and not a real solution. My father was alone on-site trying to troubleshoot a defective lock on his own — well beyond what a guest should have to manage. We were locked out for...
