Enjoy a cup of coffee on the back porch with views of the paddocks before you spend the day exploring historic Aiken. Fully furnished kitchen with all major appliances (including dishwasher) and a full size washer + dryer in the laundry area. The house easily accommodates groups or families - dogs are welcome, too! My dogs enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels from the screened porch. There is also a fenced yard as shown in pictures. The mattresses were comfortable, the bathrooms had some toiletries available if needed, and all linens were provided. It’s not real fancy inside, so if you’re expecting luxurious decor this isn’t for you, but everything was in working order, clean, and practical. The yard was mowed and maintained. We enjoyed our brief visit to attend a family reunion, but plan to come back again to explore historic Aiken. Thank you to the hosts. We would not hesitate to rent this house again. We needed a place to stay with our dogs and a few boxes that we had with us until our home purchase in Aiken was completed. House has a GREAT, convenient location. Layout is spacious and comfortable with master on main and two bedrooms upstairs. Well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Large, fenced in yard was a wonderful added bonus for our furbabies.
