(which is a further 6km) & (Unable to set MAP location accurately) A modern day house, simple layout for people to relax in. Set upon the mountain, with unrestricted sea views. There are two houses together, We live in one, the other is for guests. The houses are set 100m from the main road, and accessed via a farm track, parking is allowed at the house should guests wish. House is 3km from the village of SELLIA, where you can find a supermarket, and 4 restaurants and church. A further 2km downhill will take you to the seaside tourist village of PLAKIAS, where you can find several supermarkets, gift shops, tavernas, bars, car/bike rental, doctors, pharmacies, dive centres, horse trekking, and many more. Within close proximity there are the beaches of Plakias, Damnouni, Ammoundi, Skinaria, Preveli, Souda, and 6km west will take you to the village of Rodakino with beaches bars and restaurants. Also an area popular with hill walkers, and cyclists We are powered by SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC, .... Mar 20, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, location Disliked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy #### Stunning views, but price does not match conditions The place is nice. a lovely living room and open kitchen, and the view stunning, but it has a number of complications that are not transparently mentioned in the description: frequent internet failure, sometimes no electricity, compromised privacy (guests need to pass owner's veranda), a steep hill from the road passing two sheep gates, at the time of the year (Feb/March) very wet. The house was not heated for months and it took a week until the walls warmed so that the fireplace would heat the room. Overall: the conditions did not match the price.
