It was a trip down memory lane for my husband. (Since he grew up in Oklahoma) staying at the lake house was so much fun for us. The house was a blast. We had a great welcome from Mike with a boat ride on the lake. We had so much fun playing the games in the evening with lots of belly laughs and fun times. We enjoyed cooking our meals in the kitchen and we had everything that we needed. The beds were comfy and the house had a great location. I was looking for a lake house with a dock within 4 hours drive of my home. This place won out over others because it had a pool table, foosball and shuffleboard. He was very accommodating and allowed us to utilize his boat dock during our stay. Not to mention he even offered to tow us after we had a breakdown on the lake. I can’t say enough good things about Mike. Next let’s talk about the rental. While it’s only two bedrooms, they are large rooms that have plenty of beds to sleep large families. Mike had all of the amenities provided which is nice. He’s the first VRBO that I’ve stayed in the provided toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, laundry soap, multiple rolls of TP, endless trash bags, and all the cooking utensils you could possibly need. Super friendly and accommodating and responds immediately. We recommend this place to stay if you’re with family and friends. Love the fact that there is a dock with a lily pad, which was a huge hit with the kids. Also, really enjoyed the indoor foosball, pool, and shuffleboard tables. They got great use! The property had truly everything we needed - and more! The gaming amenities (pool table, shuffle board, foosball) were awesome for nights and rainy mornings. The lilly pad was a huge hit with the kiddos. The lake itself and community was also outstanding! Awesome fishing (thanks to our host Mike for the tips on where to catch), such kind neighbors offering a tow when our boat ran out of gas, great pit stops. This place was a great home base for us over the weekend. So convenient in many different ways. Mike was extremely helpful and actively helped us get our boat to the ramp. The house has everything you need, even a rain day wouldn’t ruin the weekend as the place is stocked with things to do.
