With 11 beds and 3 full baths there's plenty of space for everyone. Outdoor entertainment is the theme at Heartland Haven with HOT TUB, basketball court, outdoor kitchen, fire pit & lake views! If the weather isn't cooperating, don't fret, we have a covered back patio that allows you to enjoy the outdoors regardless of weather. We also have an arcade game, board games, foosball, smart TVs and plenty of cozy accommodations indoors! As you arrive you'll be greeted by a beautiful white brick, new construction home with cedar stain accents and incredible curb appeal. Park you vehicles in the extra long driveway and enter the home through the front door. As you walk into the spacious entry way you'll then be lead into the large open concept living/kitchen/dining! Your eyes will go up to take in the vaulted ceilings and custom stone fireplace. The living room has ample seating for everyone to enjoy great convo and relaxation or to watch the game, stream movies or shows on the large smart TV. Open to the living is the modern kitchen that is fully stocked with everything you would need to create a delicious meal for the group. We've got a coffee bar with a drip coffee and Keurig so enjoy some cafe on us! Adjacent to the kitchen is the primary dining room with seating for 7 and french doors that open out to the veranda. Beside the primary dining is another table and 4 chairs for additional dining and don't forget the 4 barstools up at the kitchen island. So everyone has a seat! Just off of the living room at the front of the house is the office which has a sliding barn door for privacy if you need to get some work done on vacation. There are 2 designated work spaces in the office so feel free to spread out if you need. On the south side of the home you'll find 2 spacious bedrooms that share a full bathroom. The full bathroom has plenty of linens, a beautifully tiled tub/shower combo and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for you! Both bedrooms have Queen size beds with Smart TVs for streaming from the bedroom. On the opposite side of the home on the north end you'll find the private master suite! The master suite has a cozy King size bed with a Smart TV for streaming from bed and a gorgeous en-suite full bathroom. The master bathroom has a breathtaking soaking tub, an oversized walk-in tiled shower and separate vanities. The large walk in closet is also nice for additional storage during your stay. As you leave the master bedroom and pass the laundry and mud room, you'll go upstairs to find a game room and bunk room! The game room is loaded with toys for all ages including baby toys, foosball table and classic arcade. Just beyond the game room is the bunk room which has 8 twin beds and several bean bags to create a great kids hangout room. We've also got plenty of board games and a Smart TV for streaming if you're needing some indoor entertainment. Don't forget the 2 car garage downstairs where you're welcome to bring your vehicles in from the elements if you'd like. We also have a fun putting game, a stationary bike and kids driveway toys! Last but not least we have arguably the best part of the home and that is the back yard. In the backyard we have a built in stainless steel propane grill with storage and granite counter tops, comfy cushioned wicker furniture, brand new hot tub, wood burning stone fire pit (wood provided), basketball court, corn hole, and more! At Heartland Haven you could never leave and yet never get bored! Come enjoy a relaxing getaway on Monkey Island! Guests will have access to the entire home with the exception of 2 small storage closets. We also own the vacant lot to the south of the home so feel free to spread out if you'd like to throw some balls around or explore a bit. We provide an initial stock of items such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, etc. However, if you plan to stay longer than a few days or have a large group, you will likely need to bring your own additional supplies. We don’t live on site but we love hosting and want to ensure you’re comfortable and enjoying your time at our cabin. Reach out anytime with questions or needs! Heartland Haven is located in the heart of Monkey Island and has easy access to all the island has to offer. We're less than a mile from The Quarterdeck Waterfront Cafe, there's a public boat ramp just a half mile down the road, and the Shangri La golf courses are just minutes down the road as well! The entire island is connected with walking and golf cart paths. It was our first time to venture to grand lake so we weren’t sure where exactly to stay. This house met and exceeded our expectation. The owner contacted often, even offering an extra night at a discounted rate. We ended up having to leave before we were supposed to, so couldn’t enjoy the last night there. ##### Ashley C. It provided plenty of room for our group of 12 to hang out and relax. We missed not having direct access to the water, but it wasn't too far to walk/drive to the water. ##### Tori B. There was enough room for all of us to be together (7 of us) in the main living space and outdoors but also enough rooms for some privacy. They had a lot of dishes, nice appliances and almost everything we needed, a pitcher would have been nice but that is a small thing. We played basketball, enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and even spent a day on the lake since the weather was nice. I do a lot of vrbo and I found the host to be very communicative and flexible, above average. Would recommend. ##### Aleta C.
