"Great central location. Fantastic air con. They were the 2 good things. Our room had zero privacy. Shower flooded bathroom, they fixed it quickly but then didn’t replace the towels we’d used to mop up. All the hotels we’ve stayed in Sicily we’ve adored, this one was a bit disappointing. Pool is much smaller than in photos and no Sun loungers or anything like that to relax, just tables and chairs by pool"

"Cave Bianche is situated in an old quarry, its attractive buildings made from the tufa stone, which was quarried here. The grounds are attractively landscaped, there is a beautiful pool - and bar - and the staff are solicitous and friendly. Colazione is the standard Italian fare, included in the room price. "Simple, functional, calm and wonderful to be in a green treed area with shade. Five min easy bicycle ride to the town with all its liveliness and history. Staff very courteous. Restaurant very good!"

"The hotel is far from the port but the hotel offer a free shuttle pick up and drop off. The location is secluded but beautiful. Hard to get around without a bike, scooter or car. They have a sister hotel with a nice pool which you can visit. The room was small the single bed was tiny. Not extremely comfortable but fine for one night. The breakfast wasn’t labelled so I struggled as a vegetarian. "

Made absolutely no difference to us but may have been an issue for a family with kids. Was nice to have kitchenette area as the rate was room only so we bought breakfast in local supermarket. Location was good. Very close to the old Tuna canning factory and a small beach. However was a 15 -20 minute slighty uphill walk from the port with 2 large suitcases across cobbled...
