The shouse is a self contained seperate building to the main house. The 33 acre property is on the side of Mount Barmoya. The shouse has its own private spaces, fire pit, spa, sunset deck. The setting is what makes it so special, set on a beautiful farm with amazing views and sunsets. You can take a walk through the fields and see the horses and have a drink at sunset at the lovely sunset bar. Accomodation is clean and has everything you need. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful. They even let us leave our dog to play with theirs on the farm while we did a boat trip. The area is lovely with beaches, a marina not too far away and plenty of shops and places to eat in Yeppoon and Emu park. We would highly recommend and hope to come back one day but stay for longer! There is a sunset bar that you can enjoy a few quiet drinks as the sun goes down or relax in the spa with a cold one. There is also a fire pit if you want to toast some marshmallows. Paul was very welcoming and directed us to take a leisurely stroll down to the dam to meet the horses.
