Welcome to Laurant's Cottage in the heart of famous wine region, McLaren Vale. Our beautifully renovated 1930's cottage has been lovingly restored in keeping with its original character to create the perfect luxury accomodation for couples, friends and families.  
  
The perfect year round 'entertainer' with an indoor and outdoor fireplace and immaculate gardens, Laurant's Cottage is the ideal base to explore everything the Fleurieu Peninsula has to offer!  
  
Laurant's Cottage is the ultimate space for bridal groups, families and groups of friends visiting the award winning McLaren Vale wine region. Just a short walk to Main Road, McLaren Vale, surrounded by world class cellar doors and a short 10 minute drive to the famous coastlines and stunning beaches of Aldinga Beach, Port Willunga and Maslins.  
  
Guests have access to the entire cottage which features a beautifully renovated kitchen, dream bathroom, 3 bedrooms (one king, one queen and two single bunks) and stunning outdoor entertaining area.  
  
Beautiful in summer and cosy in winter, the perfect romantic escape, couples getaway or holiday with family and friends. Spend your days exploring world renowned wineries and sourcing local produce to cook on the indoor or outdoor kitchen, and enjoy by the open fire.  
  
The outdoor kitchen has a gas bbq with rotisserie, induction cooktop and 10 seater outdoor dining, all by the beautiful open fireplace and cosy couches. The entire outdoor entertaining area can be enclosed with electric outdoor blinds to keep you warm and cosy all year round!  
  
Tv's in the lounge and Master bedroom both have Netflix provided for chill nights in aswell as free to air tv's in the bunk bedroom and outdoor area.  
  
Split system airconditioning in the main house will keep you warm or cool year round (if you're not using the fire!) with ceiling fans and built ins in all three bedrooms.  
  
Freshly cleaned linens, towels and some firewood is provided for your stay.  
  
Laurant's Cottage is located just 400m from the Main Road of McLaren Vale. Walking distance to wonderful restaurants, cellar doors, cafes, great coffee and supermarkets. Parking in the secure driveway for two vehicles, with plenty of extra on street parking.  
  
For the little ones - a portacot and highchair is available at the property :)  
  
We're hands off hosts and will have everything you need available and ready for your stay. Check in is via a lockbox and keys will be ready for you. Our wonderful Co-Host Krystal is available at any time should you need anything at all during your stay!  
  
McLaren Vale's extensive natural and cultural heritage spans over thousands of years of traditional ownership by the Kaurna people.  
  
Only 45 minutes south of Adelaide in South Australia, McLaren Vale is home to sustainable winegrowing, world-class wines and culinary experiences, as well as pristine natural attractions and unparalleled tourism offerings including unique and beautiful accommodation options.  
  
South Australia's viticultural origins began in McLaren Vale and our region's Mediterranean climate continues to drive our region's wine style and diverse food culture.  
  
Best known for Shiraz, McLaren Vale also excels in the production of ultra-premium Grenache and Cabernet. Spanish and Italian varieties such as Fiano, Vermentino, Tempranillo and Sangiovese are also very well suited climatically and provide wine lovers with yet another layer of discovery.  
  
Over one third of our cellar doors offer local produce as part of the tasting experience - from high-end, starred restaurants to casual platters - there is a wine and food combination to suit any taste.  
  
Our region's 30 kilometres of breathtaking coastline and ranges define McLaren Vale's boundaries, and the distinct landscapes and environment within.  
  
McLaren Vale's collaborative and generous nature, unique combination of world class wines and produce - both on the farm and on the plate - with a beach lifestyle, ensures that our region truly offers a unique, welcoming experience.  
  
It is great to have a car for exploring the area and doing day trips to all the amazing places you can access easily from McLaren Vale. However public transport is just a short walk away should you need it and we can help advise local tour guides for winery tours etc!  
  
Laurant's cottage is family friendly and a portacot and highchair is available on request, please just let us know you have a little one coming along! However, we do not have fire guards so please keep this in mind for safety.  
  
Our cottage is on beautiful Kaurna Country. We give thanks to Kaurna People for caring for this land and pay our respects to Elders past, present & emerging.
