"Casa D’aria is a quaint and lovely place for a vacation set in an ideal location in Catania. The eclectic style of the entire building is so interesting and homey. We had excellent communication with the owners leading up to our check in. The room was massive! With the comfiest bed tucked up on a loft. We made use of the full kitchenette and our room even had a washer to do our laundry. The rooftop communal terrace was a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the sounds of Catania....

The house is well located if you want to hit the road, as we often did, but tricky to find initially (save Esso Costa Saracena in your GPS). Both the owner and the property managers were accessible on WhatsApp and always very helpful, but you'll need your translator app if you don't speak...

He was helpful with suggestions of places to eat nearby and things to do and see. It is about a 15-minute walk from the train station and about 10-15 minutes from the main tourist area of the city. The apartment was spacious and clean, and the host had provided some cold drinks in the fridge and some breakfast pastries. The air conditioner cooled the place well."
