Prepare to be impressed when you enter this well maintained and presented home set on the second story, occupying a peaceful street position. The apartment is 5 min from Mcmurry, 10 min from ACU and Hendricks. It is also 10 min from Abilene Zoo, Abilene Downtown, Frontier Texas and other attractions. Constructed above the garage, this apartment enjoys abundant natural light and a layout designed for easy living. The floorplan incorporates a well-proportioned kitchen, welcoming living and small kitchen dining room, bathroom and laundry facilities downstairs. The living room has a futon bed with extra throw blankets to cuddle under for extra comfort and warmth in the wintertime. The kitchen is well equipped with a coffee maker, coffee powder, Keurig with pods, small blender, toaster, Brita water filter, dinettes and silverware. Bathroom has towels, hand towels, wash cloths, hair dryer, Dove body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Other highlights of the property include central air, polished hardwood floors, quality fittings & fixtures and plentiful storage, high speed internet, TV on a rolling cart for the convenience of watching it in the bedroom or living room, refrigerator, fire extinguisher, smoke detectors, and currently working on building an outdoor fireplace and picnic area. No AC turned on in unit when we arrived on a 110 degree day. No fan provided to help circulate air from BR into rest - owner provided small one when asked but unit was still hot. We were not able to use the entire space comfortably. Fridge was dirty inside & out with lots of leftover stuff taking up all the shelf space and it seemed to be leaking but may have been because of the heat. Towel bar kept falling off wall..water pressure bad. Place just felt unkept. Booked at last minute because we have dogs that we ended up not bringing. Motel 6 would have been 100 times better and much cheaper! ##### Carol J. There was a motion light at bottom of stairs but no light on at top where you needed to see the keypad, would have been nice to have the light turned on. The stairs were many and steep, I would not recommend this place to older people. The unit itself was cute and cozy but the water pressure was awful and it was a little odd the only TV was in the bedroom.
