No lift, no A/C. No parking during the day. This is an older hotel and the main stairs are a little uneven. Not a good choice if you have any mobility problems. Room was clean and comfortable. Some repairs needed in bathroom. Toilet roll holder was broken and shelf over sink was missing. Good shower, lots of hot water. Included breakfast was good.

Room was very small and tired. Shower/toilet in a "cupboard", was worse than the student accommodation my sister inlaw had for her first year in university. No carparking at the "hotel" despite the misleading information on the web site. Staff were very good, helpful and friendly. The food was good providing you enjoy Indian menu (very little other choice) but breakfast was good with plenty of options.

Every member of staff was superb.... friendly, professional and efficient. Great customer service. The bedroom was smaller than I was expecting and didn't have a bath (as per the online photos). It also felt a bit dated/old fashioned. Great restaurant and lovely breakfast. BUT being handy for the town centre does mean it is noisy outside... early morning deliveries and late night revellers were a nightmare with the windows open. Overall though I enjoyed my stay

#### Comfortable stay.

A central location. No parking at the hotel, but there is a long stay car park a short walk away, near the castle. The bathroom was tiny but had all one needed. The bed was comfortable and a good cooked breakfast. On Sundays you need to check in by 8pm because they close up and you need a key to get in.

Quaint hotel located over a pub in the main part of town. Comfortable room and spacious bathroom. Breakfast was very nice. All the staff members were fantastic.

#### Excellent service and memorable stay

We stayed for 2 nights and from the outset the welcome provided was excellent. The owner and staff were obliging and attentive especially Taylor who was a delight to meet and went out of her way to make sure our stay met with our requirements. Her rush to assist a lady who fell outside of the hotel was exemplary and demonstrated her kindness and thoughtfulness. Excellent tasty breakfast too.

My third stay in 9 months. Comfortable hotel in the town centre. Superb breakfast, friendly staff, fantastic Indian food in the evening. I'll hope to be back soon.

Was charged £130 for room 4 which had a double and a single bed in it even though Hotels.com advertised it as £122\. Manager said it was Hotels.com fault. Advertised as if it has parking - booked a parking spot for the night - only to arrive at the hotel to be told to park on the street outside the hotel. I wouldn’t have booked the hotel if I had known it had no car park. Very tired room with wallpaper coming away from the walls in part of the room. Breakfast was passable but nothing special. The staff were friendly enough.

Hotel had a great location. We had a twin room on top floor, rm14\. Room decor was dated, but clean. Bathroom was tiny, no shelving to put anything. Had a band on the night we stayed, couldn't really hear them in the room though. Only road parking outside was available.
