The Living Area The bright and airy open-plan living, kitchen and dining area has been designed for comfort and ease. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and a combined washer/dryer, making longer stays effortless. The living area is warm and inviting - the perfect retreat for unwinding with a book while enjoying the ever-changing landscape. A wood-burning stove provides both warmth and atmosphere, ideal after a day exploring the Highlands. The Bedroom The bedroom features an indulgent super-king-size Harrison Spinks zip-and-link bed. My partner and I stayed for a few nights to escape the city, and it couldn’t have been better.Check-in was simple and stress-free, and the cottage itself was clean, cosy, and had everything we needed — comfortable and clearly well cared for.The surrounding area is stunning. Fortingall is peaceful and full of character, with amazing walks right from the doorstep. On our host’s recommendation, we visited the Hot Box Spa in nearby Kenmore — set right on Loch Tay, it was a beautifully relaxing way to spend an afternoon.If you’re after a quiet, scenic break in a really special part of Scotland, this place is hard to beat.
