Set beside a gently running burn, this beautifully refurbished detached stone cottage offers luxury, solitude, and deep calm - a place where the world slows and nature takes centre stage. Wrapped in unspoilt landscape yet finished with thoughtful, high-quality details, Burn Cottage is entirely private and exclusively yours. The Living Area The bright and airy open-plan living, kitchen and dining area has been designed for comfort and ease. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and a combined washer/dryer, making longer stays effortless. The living area is warm and inviting - the perfect retreat for unwinding with a book while enjoying the ever-changing landscape. A wood-burning stove provides both warmth and atmosphere, ideal after a day exploring the Highlands. The Bedroom The bedroom features an indulgent super-king-size Harrison Spinks zip-and-link bed. For added comfort, one side is medium and the other firm, allowing guests to choose what suits them best. Fortingall is peaceful and full of character, with amazing walks right from the doorstep. On our host’s recommendation, we visited the Hot Box Spa in nearby Kenmore — set right on Loch Tay, it was a beautifully relaxing way to spend an afternoon.If you’re after a quiet, scenic break in a really special part of Scotland, this place is hard to beat. What a find. Ideal base for exploring a beautiful part of Scotland. Cycling in Glen Lyon was magical. The cottage was the best we have stayed in with the huge bed really comfortable.
