"We stayed in Scotland for a total of 10 days, two of these were spent at Skene House Whitehall. The room was actually an apartment, with two bedrooms, a kitchenette, and a large sitting and living area. The location of the hotel was within 15 minutes of downtown. There was only one problem which kept me from giving them five stars. Breakfast is not served at Whitehall. You actually have to walk one and a half blocks to a separate location in order to get breakfast. Unfortunately the breakfast...

"Hotel was okay, nothing special. Staff were pretty cold, and werent overly engaging. Bed's were okay, the bathroom in the room needed some cosmetic attetion, and there was a weird stain on the carpet. Limited parking availability made it difficult if you were arriving back at the hotel any later than 7pm. "

"We used a family room for a night due to an early flight the following day. The room was very large, clean, great beds and linen with good facilities. We also had a free shuttle bus service to the terminal. The only thing to make it even better would be somewhere to put cases on - the room was plenty big enough! All in all fantastic value for money! Would absolutely stay here again."

"We loved our stay here. The location was convenient; the room was clean and comfortable; breakfast was tasty; and most of all, the hosts were amazingly hospitable. Due to our original flight being canceled, we checked in later in the day than we anticipated, and the host was gracious and understanding. We also forgot to bring a power converter (we traveled from the U.S.), and the hosts let us borrow theirs until we were able to buy one locally. We would definitely recommend staying here."
