Rooms need a little TLC. Our Bathroom smelt awful and the decor needed a good spruce. Staff generally friendly except for the restaurant staff who needed a lesson in friendliness.

Stunning Hotel on Aber seafront
What a stunning hotel, right on the seafront with far reaching views. Excellent room, everything up to date and looks very new, could not fault. Downstairs bar area is just lovely epically the bar and open fire. Breakfast was super quick and high standard. We had Sunday lunch which was great value and lovely. But some odd service at lunch time with waitress questioning my 18 daughter about ID while having a drink with her meal in an aggressive manor was the only downside. Better custom training might be needed. Parking was a pain as had to move car several times over weekend.

Loved this hotel. Very warm friendly reception when I arrived. Very clean hotel and room was great, comfiest bed I’ve slept in ages. Very quite. The breakfast was amazing spoilt for choice. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again.

Expedia states that parking is included and free on-site. There is no on-site parking - it is only street parking within council limits. We were lucky to get parking within walking distance; but there was very little free parking available when we checked in.

Glengower, Aberystwyth
We had a really good time at the Glengower. All the staff were very friendly and kept on checking we were okay when we had our evening meal and breakfast the following morning. The place looks great since being done up (I last visited the old Glengower). Our bedroom was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. The food was great and we will definitely be back in the new year.

The hotel and restaurant/bar is quite strategic ly located, the room was nice and roomy, both the evening meal and breeakfast was excellent. We went for a walk on the waterfront over to the old castle, very nice and relaxing.

My sister and I stayed for 1 night. The hotel was lovely. The rooms were clean, attractive and very comfortable with good facilities. We had booked a table in the restaurant, which was just as well, because it was very busy. My sister had the cottage pie and I had the sea bream, both of which were excellent. The breakfast was also very good. All the staff were friendly and were obviously very good at their jobs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel, and would happily stay here again. The only downside is that there's no lift but that is not a criticism.

Room spotless but bed a tad too firm for my liking. No lift but we were luckily on the 1st floor and luggage was carried to room. Staff went above and beyond. Very reasonable rate. Convenient restaurant with good pub grub. Deserts scrumptious. Parking a bit of an issue on the weekend and worse due to works to the seafront.

Lovely stay. Nice clean room with beautiful sea front view. Breakfast was spot on, decent choice and very quick. Their restaurant is very good, had lunch their both days. Staff were accommodating, thankful for letting me use a table in the restaurant for a couple of hours after check out to do some work. Won’t hesitate to re-book this hotel if we make the same trip next year.

Great place indeed
We were so impressed with the staff and their attitude to their work. They were friendly, happy, polite and attentive. The room and en suite were very clean, the shower was great. We'd definitely stay there again and would recommend it highly. The only fly in the ointment was our mattress. The springs were uncomfortable, not enough to stop me sleeping but made a noise when we turned over, or got in and out.

Lovely sea facing room
Really friendly staff. Great bar (which closes at 11pm so don't worry about noise at night). Get a sea facing room. Only a small amount extra and definitely worth it. It's not 5 star luxury, but superb value for money.
