Hotel zu empfehlen!
normal großes Zimmer, sauber, Hotel zu empfehlen! Allerdings ist die Lüftung im Badezimmer sehr schwach, so dass sich nach dem Duschen überall ein Feuchtigkeitsfilm absetzt.

The room was very comfortable. The bed and pillows were just right for a very restful night. The staff were very helpful and the room I stayed in had a one time free minibar service. Breakfast had a good spread of items and well prepared. Overall the hotel exceeded my expectations.

Great overnight stay
Loved the place. Easy to find being next to Europaplatz. Large carpark, immaculate good sized room with comfy bed. TV with huge selection of stations and even a gift of chocolate and nuts! Breakfast was good too. Will definitely look to stay again on my next trip to Aachen

Sanctuary in Aachen
The hotel was clean, well equipped and quiet. Friendly staff and well behaved fellow guests made the whole experience very pleasant and relaxing. The breakfast was amazing. I wished I’d brought my swimsuit, the pool looked very inviting. Having a garden to relax in was a real bonus.

Visit spoiled by smell.
The hotel looked very smart, foyer impressive apart from a terrible smell like drains or toilet smell which permeated the building. Our room on the first floor also smelt. Receptionist said she couldn't smell it. Hotel full so couldn't move rooms. Smell wasn't resolved throughout our two night stay. Beforehand, had series of annoying emails about taking pets, parking charges, and worryingly asking to put in an email a credit card number to guarantee room booking if arriving late, even though room was prepaid. Hotels.com advice is never to do this, so I refused. This was disturbing to say the least. However, the room was very nice, bed comfortable and bedding clean. Lovely bathroom. Just a shame these other points spoiled this stay.

Very nice hotel with easy access to Aachen and good access to bicycle / walking paths. Hotel should provide gate through fence for guest access to walking path at rear of property.

Excellent considering the difficulties.
Good clean hotel at a reasonable price. Due to Covid the restaurant was only serving pizzas but under the difficult circumstances of Covid the hotel did the best they could. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower in the bathroom was superb!

Good in parts; Disappointing breakfast
Receptionist was excellent. Gave us very good info on eateries if the town. Room was very good. Breakfast was expensive and disappointing: too many gadgets (machine for making poor coffee, squeezing oranges and delivering little pats of butter on your plate); too little service.

overall nice place and professional hotel crew.
The hotel staff were very nice, helpful and gave the best service they could provide. The toilet button was broken and had to be fixed. In Germany there are still quarantine limitations and wearing a mask is required. Without mas you won't be checked in. Please take it with you, or purchase one from hotel desk 2,5EUR/each. Inside hotel, movement allowed only with mask. Inside the pull max of 4 people allowed.

As far as the Hygiene measures are concerned, we are responding to the requirements. The 2,50€per mask are for our mercure brand masks, you can also by regular oneway masks for 1€/each.
