The facility itself is enormous, far more so than I had realized when I booked our stay. It's a Marriott, so expect meals to be priced double (or triple) what you might pay at nearby (and far less fancy) restaurants; indeed, meals were priced a good bit higher than what we had paid at similar or nicer hotels in Seam Reap, Bangkok and Hanoi. "Lovely theming! The grounds need a rethink - replace worn grass in high foot traffic areas with paving so that guests don’t end up with dirty feet, dirty sun lounges and dirty pool towels. "The hotel does not have the '5-star wow factor' that other hotels further up the coast do, however the staff and location more than make up for this. It is located on a nice quiet stretch of the beach (that is not affected too much by the tide), and within a short walk to the small town which has many good restaurants and a few bars.
