"Great hotel and staff! Convenient bus stop right out front. Close enough to the strip, but far enough to get away from the craziness of the strip. The pool side bar & grill was awesome, and having the little market right in the building was so great to pick up a pizza, drinks, or any toiletries that were forgotten. "This casino is clean, bar is big. Great for sports lovers. Food is reasonably priced. "

"The staff was the best part of our stay, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Our trip was to visit family in the suburbs, who are about 25 minutes away from the strip, so it was good for us. Just needed a place to sleep. Comfortable big room. Pool looked nice and restaurants on site were decent. The casino had a heavy smoke smell, but that's majority of older casinos. The gym was very basic and found it difficult to do anything but cardio. "

"Nice, relaxing property about a mile or so off the strip. Not very crowded. Good restaurants. Excellent customer service. 24 hour room service! Conveniently located across the street from restaurants and a pharmacy. I stayed in a very nice, upgraded suite in the ruby tower. I loved it. Except. There is no coffee pot, refrigerator or microwave for guest use. Also. If you don’t want to be charged DO NOT open the fridge or touch anything in there. "

"It literally took us 20 min in line to check in. Then when I requested the king bed I was told only a the king suite was available, however the ppl behind us who we ended up talking to during our wait in line, got a king size bed. The reservationist was AWESOME! She was very pleasant. We wish we could get snacks after midnight limited dining"

"If you're looking for a place to stay on a dime, The Plaza is it! We went on a could trip and loved the direct access to Fremont Street. House Hash a Go Go and Oscar's we're both wonderful!"

"A great property with really good value for the money - I was surprised. It's out of the way so if it's all about the Casino's and you don't want to drive this probably isn't the place for you. If you like quiet and comfortable and plan to tour around and experience Nevada and the Las Vegas area, you'll be pleased. The Strip is probably only about 30 minutes away so not too bad."
