"Overall we like the resort although we have stayed in better ones. The fact that in the pool area they play very little music if any."

"The staff was excellent! We were treated very well. This is an older property but well maintained. The only concern is that the pool didn't stay clean. Maintenance seemed to be working on the pumps and electrical the entire week we were there but didn't seem to get it resolved. "

"The property is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The beach is amazing with the ability to walk quite far on a shoreline. When you get to the hotel, make sure to make dinner reservation for their evening restaurants because they are amazing. We really liked the Asian and Mediterranean ones. Rooms get cleaned twice a day which is nice. One thing we didn't like was a buffet with small food options and it's the same every day. I wish we were told that we could eat at the restaurants...

"We received an email from them as we landed at the Cancun airport to indicate our room wasn’t available, the replacement accommodations they offered looked in no way comparable. At least they quickly refunded our money but we were left to scramble to find another hotel during the cab ride from Cancun to Playacar. We’ve never had anything like this happen before!"
