"Inn was beautiful, the details exactly what you'd want for a weekend getaway. Room was cozy (room 6), bed was comfortable, jetted tub was awesome for us not having a tub at home, bar was a nice place to hang out and breakfast was excellent. Location was perfect, it was an easy walk into the center of town, even in winter. Honestly, nothing bad to say."

"Great place for 2 couples to relax and enjoy the fall sights.Only problem was the master bedroom bath. The bathtub drain was blocked and took 30 minutes to drain the water. Property owner was unable to get a plumber over the weekend, so I removed the stopper cleaned a lot of hair and waste, replaced the stopper and bathtub drained real good after that. "

It was built in the late 1800's and is listed in the World Guide of Covered Bridges (WGCB), number 29-05-11, and New Hampshire covered bridge #25. It is rumored that Edgell Covered Bridge was built by an 18 year old man in the late 1800's. As with some other covered bridges in the state of New Hampshire, it's roof caved in during a major snowstorm, due to the weight of the snow in February 1982. #trovember
