The beach is not suitable for swimming due to heavy surf and a strong side current but Talpe beach a 1.5k walk or tuk-tuk away has a safe beach behind a reef. »

« Wir verbringen gerade einige Tage in der Villa Alba. Es ist eines der schönsten Hotels, in denen ich je war! Das offene Design, mitten in der Natur, eins mit der Umgebungen und den dort lebenden Tieren - es ist einmalig. Es ist total ruhig gelegen aber trotzdem nicht weit zum Stadtkern. Die Zimmer sind super groß, bequeme Betten, man hat alles, was notwendig ist. Das Personal ist so lieb und zuvorkommend. Unsere Reise verspätete sich aufgrund des Fluges etwas, aber der liebe Sicherheitsmann hat...

« Nous avons passé 5 jours à l’hôtel Cocobay Unawatuna. On a adoré et on a hâte d’y retourner! Des chambres très propres et confortables! La vue sur la mer époustouflante! L’équipe très gentille et très serviable. Nous nous sommes régalés avec le grand choix de plats typique et bien d’autres. Très belle expérience! Un grand merci surtout à Saman!!! « Amazing hotel. Great staff, very boutique feeling with amazing decoration (balinese style). We stayed with our 3 children (9,7,2) in a family room, room 206, and the hotel felt perfect for kids. The pool has a shallow area, the beach area is safe and the hotel lended us some bodyboards for our older kids to play with in the sea. Note that the bedroom balcony doors do not close 100% by design so you will heqr the waves at all time (which we liked to go to sleep) but it may not be for everybody....

« L’hôtel est très agréable et la grande chambre au premier étage du bâtiment principal est magnifique avec belle vue sur la mer. En revanche l’hôtel est isolé sans restaurant extérieur accessible à pied pour dîner. L’hôtelier profite de cette situation pour pratiquer des prix insensés sur la nourriture et les boissons (18$ un plat de pâtes). Les prix ont d’ailleurs presque doublés en un an! Les pâtes passant de 1800 roupies (8€) à 18$. C’est dommage et cela gâche un peu le séjour. Nous n’y avons...
