"Modern hotel with great staff"
The staff at Sonesta ia awesome, they did everything to make our stay in Cusco great. The helped us arrange reservations as well as tours. They kept our bags while we went to Machu Picchu. Rooms were very comfortable and wifi worked all over the hotel. 10 minute walk to Plaza de Armas. The buffet had a lot of choices and food was very tasty. I also recommend that you have a drink in the bar and have a chat with Carlos and Melissa.

"Good overall"
Good location, ancient style, friendly staff. Room was too small but we didn't spend much time inside. Food was fine; not great.

Pocket Guide: Cusco Cusco 4 stars Business Hotels

The Old and the New World intersect in Cusco: This fair city was remade in the image of Spain after conquistadors crushed the Inca in the 1500s. This colonial heritage is most evident at the Plaza de Armas, home to three baroque churches. To see the vestiges of the Incas, pass through the bohemian enclave of San Blas in the hills above central Cusco, and head north to the Sacsayhuaman fortress.
