"Nice Condo Right in the Village"
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Deer Lodge for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The employees at check-in were great. We heard complaints that you had to check-in about 6km from where you were actually staying, but considering they have over 10 properties in Whistler, it makes sense. Anyone who does complain about this is just being lazy. The parking was great, very secure and underground. The stairs and elevator were very close and takes you to each floor. We were on the fourth floor and our condo was great. It had a full kitchen, a living room, washer and dryer, nice full bathroom and a separate bedroom. Everything was nice and clean and they supplied you with all kitchen supplies, lots of towels and it even has a balcony. I will note that you do have to take your garbage and recycling out at the end as well which was okay with us and the garbage room was easy to find on the parking level.

"OK Stay"
This hotel is in a centralized location within a short walk to the Gondola. It's right at the Whistler Village. We were having problem at first finding the place and ended up calling the front desk for direction. The hotel goes by the name Whistler Peak Lodge. Daily parking is $15 and you can get to the room from the parking garage. The room is small with a Queen size and Murphy bed. But it has a full size kitchen and washer/dryer which is a plus for us as we can have breakfast before the skiing. The bathroom amenities were pretty basic. There's no room cleaning everyday and no garbage collection. The checkin instruction mentioned housekeeping is done every 5 days. We didn't stay that long and find it rather inconvenience having to keep the garbage under the sink.

"Cozy place with an easy walk into the village"
This was a great place to stay for a family of 6, with the youngest being 17. We were a little worried about the walk into and back from the village, but it was really no big deal. Anyone that can ski for 3 out of 4 days shouldn't be bothered by such a short walk, and the lodge's shuttle is running so frequently that it's fun to jump in occasionally. The kitchen is well appointed in the rooms. We had everything we needed to make breakfast before skiing as well as dinner on a few nights when we didn't want to go out into the village. The local Whistler grocery store had everything we needed to stock the refrigerator. Plenty of storage space for our stuff, though we rented boards and skis in the village and stored those at the rental place instead of at the lodge. Other guests seemed to be storing and grabbing their skis with no issues every morning, so I expect the ski locker they provide is just fine. The staff was wonderful, offering helpful advice and answering all the questions we had. Our kitchen was missing a corkscrew, and they brought one up quite promptly as soon as we called. Two jacuzzis by the pool with easy access. We never needed laundry faciliies, but it was nice to know the 1st level has machines to use. The fireplace in the room only allows for chemical logs (like Duraflame), and the front desk sells these for a reasonable price. A great experience, and would stay here again!
