« You’re right on the edge of the best reserve in the area & the game drives are all on the Shamwari Game Reserve. These are better than we ever expected & our ranger/guide, Cillia, was the best! Daniel at the Lodge managed everything for us & was always there for our needs, nothing was too much trouble & he ensured everything ran like clockwork. Cynthia was brilliant, always smiling and calm, Ntombi was also excellent and helped us with our questions about local culture. Overall superb! »

« A really lovely and relaxing place to spend a few days whilst visiting the game reserves. Very attentive staff, a large and comfy bedroom A lookout deck, pool, hammock and outdoor seating area are all lovely, and would be fabulous in warmer weather. Three course dinner (set menu) was delicious and all home-prepared on site. The dining room is also very nice, and we were seated right by the fire - very welcome in August. The shower did go cold on us twice, but I think in winter it's harder...

« Le cadre est magnifique pour qui découvre l'Afrique du Sud. La structure est proche d'Addo elephant park. Difficulté à trouver avec un GPS et pas connu des locaux. Le point de repère est une grue ( oiseau) en métal à l'entrée. N'hésitez pas à ouvrir les barrières. Ressenti très mitigé quant à l'accueil des non germanophones. »
