« The Refuge Inn staff made me feel right at home. Easy check in, regardless we were early and we had a room in the first floor which was wonderful since we had access to the mini forest/patio area perfect for my two kids, 2 and 7. The yard also had access to the pool which was beautiful covered in plants and half outdoor/indoor. the hot tub did have a little too much chemical but it was clean. For every day we stayed breakfast was included. I would def stay here again. »

« This place is amazing. Celeste is a joy to work with and very accessible during her availability hours. Not only was she great with us, but I could tell she has a good working relationship with the property owner. The only issues we had were QOL. The main television was a bit of a trial to get VUDU/Fandango for after hours when we got home. But Celeste was on top of it the very next morning and arrived at the exact time she quoted. The shower curtain was a bit on the short side for a curved...

« Property was great and it is very close to the beach area as well as the wild ponies. Walkable to all the coffee shops and ice cream. Only downside, if you cook there is nothing locally good to eat but won’t hold it against the area, just preference. People were great and coffee shops were great. »

« This house was advertised as being able to fit 8 people. All 3 bedrooms had very worn out mattresses. The sleeper sofa was missing springs. Two of our family members had to sleep on the floor and an air mattress we purchased. There was not enough dinnerware and silverware for 8 people. The bar stool (for extra seating ) was so wobbly that no body dared to use it for fear of breaking. The deck would have been nice, if there was a dining table and four more chairs (there were 2 dining chairs...

« This was an amazing condo with a beautiful view of the lighthouse and a heartwarming look at lots of ducks and geese as their feathers shimmered in the sunshine. This cozy condo had all the comforts and amenities that my husband and I needed for a weekend get-away....with a full kitchen and comfortable bed. A second bedroom had two twin beds for those that may be traveling with children. Very nicely decorated as well. We will be back! »

« We booked this property for the 2025 Pony Swim. All 7 of us had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. This seems like a newer property and was lacking a few things based on other reviews so we came prepared. Overall we found plenty of supplies to get us by throughout the week. It’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle to provide ample peace and quiet but still close enough that we made it back to the island every morning. »

« We had a lovely 2 night stay. The owners and host were wonderful. We were so happy to have use of the golf cart and bicycles. The cottage is adorable with beautiful touches all around. »
