"Ticked all our boxes!"
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, free parking and WiFi, immaculately clean and comfortable room, a good breakfast .... and all within walking distance of the city centre. What more could we have asked for? We pass through Oxford heading north several times each year and shall certainly be staying here again.

"Cosy room overnight"
Cosy room was snug. Suitable for one person. Not ideal if over 6 ft. Suited my requirements.

"Brilliant central Oxford location"
Tower House is superbly located 50 metres from Broad Street, and is a characterful old house - definitely not an anonymous hotel chain! No reception, as it is managed by the nearby restaurant, a nice check-in room which doubles as a breakfast room for the early departers, no lift so not for the mobility challenged, but large, clean rooms, comfortable bed, and nice touches in terms of quality teas and toiletries.

"Its OK"
Location was great for the venue I was working at for 4 days. If you are a lone female guest you might feel a little out of place because it seems during the week it is predominately occupied by workmen but I didn't have any issues with them. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Also the waitress was lovely Its not the best or worst hotel I've stayed in so I would recommend it as 'ok' .

"Very clean, extremely helpful staff"
I stayed at the Cherwell Guest House for one night only, but would highly recommend it. On my arrival there was a mix up with bookings, but the staff were extremely helpful and agreed to waive the additional nights fee I would have been charged as a good-will gesture. I stayed in the most basic room which was small but adequate. Very clean, warm, good shower, good tea making facilities and really comfortable bed. I have rated Room Comfort as a 4 simply because (as a woman coming to the city for a night out) it would have been nice to have had a full length mirror in the room. Easy to get into Oxford centre with bus stop opposite. Would definitely stay again.

"Perfect end to a perfect day "
A lovely greeting from the lady in reception after the long journey started the evening. Friendly staff at the bar and a corner in the lounge area and a glass or two finished every off very nicely. The room was spacious, well furnished and very clean and warm. Breakfast the following was first class with more that enough to cover the largest of appetites. Will be back at the next opportunity.

"Quirky, but nice"
The new owner had just taken over the week we arrived, and was a bit frazzled, but this is a cute little B&B. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable with a lovely little outdoor seating area in the back.
