"Quiet hotel a little out of the city centre"
We loved the quiet location of the hotel. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were very helpful and spoke good English. It is a 20 min walk down hill into the centre of the town and a bit of a drag up again. There are buses that are frequent and cheap but we used taxis for the trip up on two occasions and found the cost to be under 6 Euro. The room was not large although the beds were massive and the bathroom was spacious and spotless. The air conditioning was most welcome at night. The construction of the hotel means that there is very little internal noise and we slept well.

"BH Atarazanas Málaga Boutique Hotel"
Smart, clean boutique hotel; not particularly in the luxury bracket and the facilities are on the basic side, but it's comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. We occupied a twin room (turned down the offer to upgrade to a balcony room) which was clean and comfortable with en-suite shower over bath. Equipment included flat-screen TV (mostly Spanish channels but also BBC World), mini-bar, air conditioning and free wi-fi, but no tea/coffee making facilities. A light continental breakfast is available for a small supplement and there are complimentary snacks offered in the reception room, where you can purchase coffee from a machine. The hotel is conveniently situated near to the centre of Malaga, which has a joyful atmosphere day and night. It is a beautiful place to explore with its many shops, bars, restaurants, the cathedral, Alcazaba fort and museums (art lovers see Museo Picasso); along with the impressive port, offering boat trips, further shops, restaurants and the nearby beach. Almost opposite the hotel, there is a superb, covered grocery market selling fresh produce. The hotel is also a fairly short walk to the rail station for the airport. Perfect for our needs and a very enjoyable stay.

"Nice hotel good location, rooms need upgrade"
Good hotel, close to everything, very nice staff, except for, bartender near the pool not so pleasant. Too bad the rooms look as if they were never upgraded, because everything else was good. Definitely would recommend if they improve the rooms at least add some queen or king beds The hotel only has 2 single beds in every room not very convenient for couples.

"Convenient and comfortable"
The Don Paco Hotel is just across the road from Málaga's Maria Zambrano Station, with its shopping mall, coffee and snack bars, which makes it very convenient for the airport and journeys beyond the city. There are some useful bars and restaurants near the hotel. The hotel itself is a period piece: unpretentious with a traditional approach (sheets and blankets rather than duvet, for example). Rooms are not luxurious but have everything you need and our bathroom was spacious with bath as well as shower. Service was excellent, rooms kept spotlessly clean and the beds made up every day, changed every 2 days. Towels were a bit old but adequate. Basic supplies such as soap and shampoo were provided and there is a safe in the wardrobe. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. The breakfast room was smart and fully comprehensive from eggs and bacon to croissants.

"Great find, glad we booked here. Would stay again"
We booked this hotel for a week in June, we upgraded to a sea/pool view room and booked a B&B package. We stayed here just over a week and were so pleased with the hotel. The room was very comfortable and a good size, we had the use of a fridge which was extremely helpful as it was very warm when we stayed there. The breakfast selection was fantastic each morning and although very busy was well stocked. The pool and gardens were just lovely to sit in and we found ourselves whiling away many hours some days, and the close proximity to the beach and the other bars and restaurants made it an ideal location to return to each day/night as the hotel is nestled between some great places. All the staff that we dealt with were very friendly and helpful (especially when we didn't know which bus to get one day!). It was lovely to sit on the balcony of an evening and listen to the entertainment in the bar underneath. The drinks and food we purchased at lunchtimes (and once we had the evening buffet) were of a great standard and adequately priced.
