Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is new and modern. Room is small, but designed nicely, has small kitchenette and refrigerator, which is very convenient. Overall- highly recommended!

"Reasonable option in Lisbon"
A reasonable option in Lisbon--it is close to the action but not too close--you need an easy metro ride into the city center with all the restaurants and sites--the Metro is only 2 blocks up the street and the Lisbon metro is really easy to navigate. The hotel was fine--rooms clean and air conditioning worked. The staff was only OK..not bad but not super helpful (compared to numerous hotels I have stayed at and compared to hotels I have stayed at in the Iberian peninsula)...check out was kinda slow and they were a little take or leave and really wouldn't budge if we we tried to check in before 2pm...I know it is hotel policy so hard to hold it against them, but it didn't seem they even tried to see if a room was open (at some other hotels if they have a room open they will fit you in several hours early). We stayed at another hotel in Lisbon that showed more "above and beyond" effort. Did not appear to be a lot in the area so the bad is you have to get on the metro to do something (which really isn't a big issue). The good is that is is quiet.

"Nice hotel close to Metro and Hop-on-off bus stop."
The room is clean and comfortable although it's so tiny. The breakfast was wonderful. We can't expect more for the price we paid. The only issue is the noise from the street in the midnight. We stayed there for 3 nights. Truck came to collect garbage bins and used towels for the big hotel opposite to our room every single night. They worked more than 1 hour in the midnight. The noise was quite bothersome.

"Excellent central location with fantastic staff"
We had a lovely week in Lisbon, the hotel staff were super accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble including our incessant questions about how to pronounce various phrases in Portuguese. If we visit Lisbon again we would definitely stay here, same goes for Berlin and Barcelona once it opens. Definitely go for the breakfast if you are staying, and make sure you eat at the Portuguese restaurant next door. Thanks for making our trip so comfortable!

"Excellent hotel without any imperfections!!"
Fantastic hotel with great staff, location and room! I will like to personally thank Ms Tania who went out of her way to help me as my phone was snatched whilst in watching the Euro finals game at Praco de Comercio. Ms Tania offered and called my local telco to cancel my line without charging me for anything. The best part is that she comforted me and distracted me by talking and keeping me in conversation. It certainly made me feel so much better in that horrific situation. Also, the staff who checked me in, sorry I did not get his name, but is a specky guy, was very cheerful and fun person with lots of enthusiasm. It has been a delight staying at Brown's Boutique, except for the unfortunate snatched-thief of my mobile phone.

"wonderful place to stay on Lisbon - "
My husband and I stayed at the hotel when we 1st arrived in Lisbon. The hotel room overlooking the plaza Rossio was spectacular- wonderful full size window doors and balcony! We have a full view of the castle St Jorge. We traveled to the beaches for a week and returned to stay at the Hotel again for 3 more days with our daughter. The front desk staff were terrific. They gave us a room with a castle, plaza Rossio view and went out of their to accommodate us. My husband loved the complimentary breakfast- delicious coffee,, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs in a bright sunny room overlooking the plaza Rossio as well. The front desk gave us great ideas about what to door- the Yellow Bus tours were perfect. We could walk right down to the river Tagus from our hotel. Many fabulous restaurant and shops all around. Prime location, wonderful staff- can't wait to come back!!!
