Nice older hotel in close proximity to attractions, restaurants, venues. The staff from Mona at the reception desk to the people who park/bring you your car in the enclosed parking facility are fabulous. Only drawback I felt with this hotel was that it is a bit of a walk from the parking structure to the hotel entrance. Would be in the hotel's best interest to hire valet to bring your car to the front entrance for you. If I were younger, and didn't have back problems and leg problems, or in summer weather, the walk probably wouldn't be bad. Overall, an excellent experience with this hotel. Highly recommend.
Converted apartment over a restaurant, two bedrooms, full kitchen, comfy couch. Ceiling fans and window unit a/c's in both bedrooms and living. Decent neighborhood, about 15 minute walk from Wrigley. Would be great for a family or a couple of friends going to see a Cubs game. Whatever street noise or activity in the building there was, was easily masked by the hum of the a/c. Showed up well before check-in, the place was closed, called number for restaurant, got a call back from the gentleman who came over early to let us in (though we did have to wait about an hour before he could get there). Fancy little hipster coffee shop about three minute walk, several restaurants in the area. The building is obviously undergoing some repair/renovation, but all in all, very good. Would definitely stay again.
