"They do not follow through on what they say they w"
One key reason we picked this hotel was it had shuttle to and from Hotel. Called one week in advance to ensure the shuttle would be at airport to pick us up. Well you guessed it we arrived and no shuttle. All other large hotels when standing at baggage pick up with signs. Call hotel and was put on hold. Of course cell cost is high to be put on hold. While on hold another hotel guy asked if he could help. He called his contact at hotel and had a van coming for us before we got off hold. Talked to manager about them dropping the ball and he said he would get back with us. You guessed heard from him by time to check out. Staying at hotel before I fly back to states. Will let him know what I think of people that tell me they will do something and don't.
"Hotel close to some attractions but a few concerns"
Hotel rooms were fine but WiFi seemed a bit unstable. There are 2 elevators and front desk is located on 9th floor, which means there can be some waiting anytime you want to go in and out of your room or to the front desk. Breakfast area was nice. Ermita area doesn't seem like a nice area to walk around but heading toward Intramuros area is nice.
Arrived at the hotel at night and it was raining bad and it there was flood.Took awhile before hotel crew managed to help us come out from the taxi.It seems that they don't have emergency plan in case of heavy rain and flooding in manila and this area always flood whenever it rain.Restaurant fair, server fair.Bedsheets very old.Cannot adjust with the warm shower,no matter how you adjust it still give very hot water.
Stayed 2 nights while waiting for our flight back to states. Convenient to downtown and airport. Older, but comfortable hotel. Computer facilities for flight confirmation for a reasonable fee. Helpful staff. 2 good restaurants on premises. All in all a good place to prepare for flight. Older, but still comfortable facilities. As everywhere in the Philippines; a very pleasant and helpful staff.
"Walking distance to the mall- everything is there!"
It's always a thrill to be in Manila- Las Palmas makes it all the more better because it is so close to everything- mall, restaurants along Roxas Blvd- we walked to Aristocrat, my fav eating place since childhood..
