"Perfect location to stay if you are attending an e"
Great location! One block away from an LRT station so perfect if you are attending an event at the stadium or rexall and don't want to have to worry about traffic. Joined up with Edmonton Centre as well so easy shopping. Great customer service, very helpful and polite staff.

"Great Location"
Breakfast not served until 7:30, If you have business meetings or work, don't expect to get any complimentary breakfast. The room was hot and the thermostat although set at 16 did not respond to the 25 plus temperature in my room all night. Beyond this, the hotel is very clean quite and the staff are exceptional.

Coliseum Inn

"Adequate For a Short Stay"
The hotel has ample parking. The hotel is clean but the condition is not great in certain areas including our room, i.e. holes in walls, stained carpet, etc. We witnessed some questionable "guests" entering/leaving the hotel at odd hours. The front desk/lounge did not answer when called around 7 PM for room service. Our bed was clean and comfortable. Overall our stay was reasonable for the price paid.

"Handy to downtown Edmonton facilities."
Quick check-in & check-out. Room well-appointed, up to date, comfy bed, lots of pillows, free wi-fi. Breakfast restaurant surprisingly good and inexpensive. Too bad downtown Edmonton is run-down and gritty - of course early spring isn't the best time for the prairies. Frankly, I would never go back to Edmonton unless I had to. It is sad to see a big city with no one living downtown to bring real life to the area. I gather everyone lives in suburbs and goes to big box stores and malls. As a result, except for the theatre, art gallery and performing arts centre and nice restaurants scattered around, I could see hardly any retail except the necessaries. No one on the street except a few workers and the homeless. Downtown is also in dire need of a makeover, but from what I saw on the ride in from the airport, none of it is looked after. Empty fields and construction sites scattered with trash and chain stores and auto retailers were the view.
