"Cool room, interesting design, loud ventilation "
The restaurant and bar is great. The room was nice with an interesting industrial feel. Well insulated against outside noise on Spadina. One big problem: we couldn't sleep because the heating/ ventilation was super loud when it came on and ran loud as well.

"good location"
It's on the rainbow street, close to everything. Room is very clean and nice decorated, the bed is so comfortable. I wish the sink could've been working.

"Great hotel, close to everything"
We loved our stay at the Hotel Victoria! My husband and I were in town for a concert, and this hotel was very reasonably priced for how close it was to the Air Canada Center. Plus it was down the street from the Eaton Mall, so we could spend half the day shopping, then drop off our purchases on the walk over to the concert. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and easy to find. Our room had Netflix and a really comfy bed. We'll be back the next time we are in Toronto!

"Not bad"
The hotel and room need major renovations. The staff was not very friendly. The wifi was brutal. When we asked about it they told us to call the wifi company.... room was good for a family of 5. We did the 2 bedroom suite. The bathroom was small and the renovations they did so were not great. Sloppy. close to the subway and the college center. Just an ok hotel.

"Distillery District Festival of Lights"
Great location. Lots of Uber access. Beautiful view. Tons of parking. Quiet building. Fully equipped kitchen. The only minus was that you could smell cigarette smoke. Either in the furnace filters or coming in from the venting.

"Reasonable location, room cold and drafty"
I stayed on the second floor (one up from ground) in a room with floor to ceiling non-opening windows overlooking a busy street with lots of pedestrians who could easily look in. No shears/net curtains, no blinds, just a heavy curtain. And the glass was thin enough that I could feel the cold pouring in, and could hear when people were talking on the street, so it was noisier than I like. It didn't help that the heating was set on 15 when i arrived but it never did get really warm - the heating wasn't powerful enough to combat the draught I think. The floor is wood, which is a plus over carpet because it's easier to clean. There was no breakfast or room service, but there are tons of restaurants nearby. I like that you get a fridge but there's no microwave. Studio 6 isn't that far away on Grange and is probably better value but not so recently renovated. They're both two or three star hotels. It was nice that there was an elevator & the wifi worked well. Bed was OK. The "rain" shower is fun and maybe trendy although I wished for a bath really. The instructions on the 'phone were wrong (don't dial 9 for a local or long distance number, just dial the number). I booked at short notice and it was relatively inexpensive.
