"Lovely hotel perched up high on a hill overlooking Monterosso- in fact, one can see all 5 towns of Cinque Terre from the hotel grounds. Clean, comfortable, good-sized room; if available, book a room with a balcony for a fantastic view. Shuttle van to & from hotel into Monterosso was very much appreciated as walking up or down the hill would be difficult. Breakfast was excellent with many choices to suit all tastes (8-10 am). "We loved Hotel Il Saraceno!! This beautiful and peaceful hotel in Volastra, high above Manarola is easily accessible by shuttle bus that runs almost continuously. We loved everything—the decor, the quiet, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the patio—but our favorite was Antonella, the proprietor. She is amazing! Her warmth, efficiency and charm are endearing! Plus, she speaks perfect English!"

"A good place to stay for a couple of nights. It’s beautifully refurbished and v clean. Breakfast is nice too. It’s quite a walk into town or the train station, 30 mins or so, but there’s a a v good pizza place just down the road. We arrived mid afternoon which does not fit in with the hotels checking in hours, but after a phone call we were able to get in, much appreciated after a very long drive. "

"We had very pleasant stay for 2 nights, 3 to 4 minutes walk to train station, grate location, super convenient if you will visit Cinque Terre; a few minutes walk to city for eat and drink. We checked in late, the owner welcomed us the following morning, provided us great tips and recommendations where to go, which trails to hike to avoid the crowds. The place also offered breakfast which was very convenient. It was raining all day when we were there, luckily I was able to borrow the umbrella...

"We took a bus (runs every 15min) to the hotel which was approx 10-15 min ride. The hotel was beautiful built in 2011. The pool was nice and well maintained. Staffs attended us was funny and helpful. They have 3 rabbits in the properly running around to keep you entertained. The only downside was that we were assigned on the connecting room and we could hear the next door neighbor as if they were in the same room. We heard some unpleasant sounds from the next door couple."
