Great hotel; rooms were excellent; location terrific. And staff was great. Had a free coffee bar in 5th floor with fresh fruit and juice.

"Central location, easy access to all main points."
The check-in office is at a different location than the apartment (we stayed at the Santa Barbara location), so if you have a late flight, make sure to make arrangements for check-in. Check-out is a breeze! The apartment was comfortable enough for 6 adults (2 on the sofa bed). It's not on a quiet street, so if that's important for you, take note of that. We were into the lively scene and didn't mind it. The apartment is modern, dimly lit, and aesthetically pleasing. It sits above a street food market, which is great! Other than some power outlets not working and the wifi being really weak, our stay was good. Can't beat the location.

"Great Location"
This is a very inexpensive hostel a stones throw from the Grand Via. It is very basic, no reception desk...but know the bedroom door of the family that run it and there is always someone thee to help...with a lovely smile. There is no communal area or no breakfast facilities/dining room. The wifi is temperamental...if you get no signal...knock staff door and ask them to turn router on an off...this works!!!

"Great location and lovely home"
This is a perfect location for sight seeing in Madrid and all that Chueca has to offer in night life. The apartment is great and the bedroom is quiet for a sound sleep. Plan on staying there next time I go to Madrid. highly recommended.

Pocket Guide: Madrid City Centre Chueca 3 stars Hotels

A down-at-heel central area in the 1980s, Chueca is now the fashionable gay heart of the city. The Plaza de Chueca is its epicentre, with countless terraces, bars and clubs in and around it. The surrounding streets are packed with cutting-edge shops and restaurants as well as traditional tapas bars. Don’t miss the Museo Municipal on Fuencarral, with its fine baroque entrance and Habsburg treasures within.
