"Nice hotel "
I found the beds too hard otherwise room Ok WiFi did not reach my room. Had Dinner in hotel first night with wine very good prices. However on the second night our first voice of starter "Prawn Cocktail" was out of stock took 20 minutes to be told the main course turned up after a wait cut the chicken Kiev in half to find garlic butter still hard ! The waitress thought it funny my wife steak was well done instead of medium rare what a disaster staff did to do a public relations course as all the waitress could do is laugh.

"Quiet and comfortable, ideal out-of-the-way place"
Medlar Cottage is located down a quiet Sussex lane, near enough to the main roads to be convenient, but far enough away to be peaceful. Lovely farmland/woodland views. Extremely well appointed, very comfortable, with kind helpful hosts. The breakfasts are delicious, with a good range of choices and using top class produce. We had three nights here which suited us perfectly for a mixture of family event and relaxation.
