"This is right in the middle of Lapa party district and for $30 for a Friday night during Carnival, I appreciate that it is cheap, however, some things are just completely unacceptable. When I checked into my room which the cleaners were just leaving I found a good sized room with fridge, twin beds, a wardrobe and TV and a good sized bathroom. "Terrible management, bad conditions. This is not a hotel. This is a hostel. Pictures on the website are different from the offered rooms. During my stay, I felt a strong smell from the toilet drain. If you want a room similar to those pictures, you are charged extra. During my stay, a guy from reception took of his shirt and stayed like that for hours. Area near the pool is very cute, breakfast is nice. On the other hand, I wish I could have my money back."

"This hotel was in such a bad, dirty neighborhood. It was super dangerous at night. The hotel is very run down and needs many, many repairs. There were sometimes no toilet paper in the bathrooms. The room itself was so small it was hard to move around in. I could touch both walls with my hands and I am 5’2”! There was no air conditioning or WiFi. There was a tiny, old fan blowing very little air. The staff was pretty nice and helpful though. "
