« Room carpet is old but hotel is very clean so don’t care. Hotel is nicely maintained. AC works well. Breakfast was great and staff personally got my daughter hard boiled eggs after breakfast was closing. We appreciated getting a noon check out as we got in late. I like Marriott hotels but some Fairfield hotels are not up to good standards. Have had problems at Holiday Inn Express hotels in the past but this hotel has changed my opinion. Now if reviews are positive I will consider them. »

« So many nooks & crannies to explore, relax, read, chat. Absolutely loved the two outdoor balconies, especially in our gorgeous Labor Day weekend weather! The room, temp & esp bed were all so comfortable! All staff was wonderful and truly cared. A few things that would make this ideal, a vending machine, water fountain or water dispenser on property. « We enjoyed our stay at Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites in Clear Lake, IA! Hotel had “new appearance” & check in process was smooth even though we added 2nd night’s stay. The thing that we didn’t enjoy was the complimentary breakfast, fruit should be replaced more often, minor issue but heard others express the same sentiments. « Clean and cozy apartment above Laketime brewery. Stayed mid week in the summer. Quiet location within a block of Main Street and 7 minute walk to lake. Would highly recommend for cleanliness, comfort, and convenience. Includes a place to park. »

« Check in was easy. Location was key for this stay! We came to town to see a concert at the Surf Ballroom. The place was clean and stocked with the basic needs for our stay. We were able to easily walk to the surf within 5 minutes. The place was on the cozy side, but there was only 3 of us, so it fit our needs. The place was nicely decorated and very clean. We would stay again! »

« This house is quite small, but honestly you don't come to Clear Lake to sit in your house! The location is great, the beds were nice, and the air conditioning worked great on a hot weekend! »
