« We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. « It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. « This was a lovely home, and perfect for our long weekend with friends. The location is central to the area’s sites and activities. The extra features and touches of this home made our stay special. Darlene was very helpful and responsive. »

« This property was absolutely beautiful, clean, and well stocked for a large family. The house itself feels very private because the cabins are spread apart. We went swimming at the beach, rented kayaks, went about 25 minutes away to Oakland, MD to Swallow Falls State Park and Deep Creek Lake. So much to do and everyone from grandma to the teenagers to the 1 year old had a blast. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds and couches are comfortable. Lots of towels. Would highly recommend »
