"Lovely preserved hotel that brings you back in time right in the middle of Lauterbrunnen. Part of the front of the hotel was used in the James Bond movie “Her Majesty’s Secret Service” back in the 1960’s. The scenery from the hotel terrace and front patio is spectacular! However, I strongly suggest booking a larger room and not the single room for 1. It was tiny and I struggled with fitting an open suitcase on the floor. The bathroom was even tinier and if you are over 6’ - you will be hunched...

"Overall a great property. Definitely not a 2 star hotel. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, staff was great. Only issue we had was the location of the hotel. The views are breathtaking but to get to a bus or train station you need to walk at least 10-15 minutes on a road that has no sidewalk /footpath for most part. So, it's little risky. I suggest the hotel to start a shuttle service for a small charge from hotel to the bus stop every 15-30 minutes. It will go a long way and will address...

"Cute cozy hotel in Interlarken. Be warned that they do not have an elevator so maybe not the best place to stay if you have a lot of luggage. Service was fantastic, and the included breakfast was lovely. Walking distance to everything. Also, they had a coin washing machine and dryer which was incredibly handy. They even provide detergent."
