"Ok for 1 night before leaving on cruise"
This is an old facility. Cleanliness was acceptable. The staff was very friendly. They directed us to a late night restaurant when their's had closed. It was an easy walk down the street. The toilet backed up & over flowed. The guy came quickly & cleared the problem. Had to ask for cleaning products for the floor & they helped.

"No frills, comfortable, reasonable price"
We stayed here the night before taking a cruise ship from Fort Lauderdale. The hotels closer to the port are expensive, and this was a good alternative--about a 20 minute taxi ride from the cruise ship. The room was quite comfortable. We had a room with a small kitchen, which we didn't really use, but would have been great if we were staying longer (there's a grocery store across the street). The only complaint I had was the air conditioner. It's the kind that sits in the window, and it's LOUD. On the other hand, the sound drowned out any other noise from the hotel or the rooms next door :-). Pay attention to the check out time. It was earlier than you'd normally : 11am. We checked out and went next door to meet friends, but there was just a small space in the lobby for us to leave our luggage. The staff was nice enough about letting us leave our stuff there, albeit a bit grudging.

"Low cost one nighter"
We were looking for a place to stay just for the night before heading down to the Keys in the morning. This place was the cheapest by far! Accomodations were basic, some cosmetic repairs were needed for the room. We slept well. The breakfast bar was very good, with lots of complex carb and protein options. There are 2 waffle makers as well. For the purpose and cost of our stay, this was s goid choice.

"Comfortable bed with plenty of fluffy pillows. "
I had such a good night's sleep that I didn't want to get up. The included breakfast had waffles, eggs, and sausages with fruit, cereals, yogurt, fruit and juices. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is close to the port and the airport and there are lots of food choices within walking distance as well as a pharmacy. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Stop and ask yourself what’s missing in your life. Is it palm trees? Then you’re in luck.

Fort Lauderdale is thoroughly adorned with palm trees, though you won’t find coconuts in them. This is particularly obvious on the city’s 11 km of beaches, which have the Atlantic Ocean on one side and rows upon rows of palm trees on the other. The beach, of course, is Fort Lauderdale’s calling card; you can spend all day playing in the sand, learning to surf, or just stretched out underneath an umbrella. When you’re ready to spend a little time indoors, head over to the Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum. There you’ll find a reconstruction of a 1920s Packard showroom—what, you never heard of Packard Motor Company? They were big news up through the mid-20th century, when they merged with Studebaker. Their vehicles still speak for themselves, and you’ll get a kick out of exploring the museum.

Fort Lauderdale isn’t all that big, so you can book the best hotels just about anywhere in the city and still have full access to all the things you’d like to see. The Fort Lauderdale Sun Trolley is your ticket to the beaches, the downtown area, and everything else; it roams all over the city, with special stops at shopping areas and (naturally) the waterfront.

The trolley will even stop near your hotel. No matter where you end up staying, let Expedia.ca help you find the perfect cheap hotel deals in Fort Lauderdale so you aren’t left struggling to pay for parking.
