"Nice hotel "
Hotel is well situated within easy walking distance to Old Montreal and metro. Rooms are spacious and clean. Considering it's on a main road it is also fairly quiet. We were surprised that although it had kitchen space including a full fridge and a microwave it's cupboards were bare. There was no stove top and no cutlery or dishes. Perhaps if I'd read the hotel description more closely, I would have known this ahead of time. All said, staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

"Centrally located hotel in Montreal"
You know when they say 'do not judge a book by its cover?' It is exactly how i would describe my experience with Hotel Quartier des Spectacles. Don't allow a nearby sex shop or the overall appearance of the outside of the building fool you. The staff was very helpful upon arrival and check-out. For example: my side-table lamp went out during the night and was replaced by the time i returned to the hotel. The room I booked was decently sized and was perfect for someone travelling alone. The shower stall was a bit too small for my liking, even for a petite person. However, the provisions in my room was suitable enough for a two-night stay. The hotel is centrally located. All major attractions (Old Port, Old Montreal, Notre Dame Basilica, Place des Arts) are within walking distance. Even the Olympic Park, Biodome, Botanical Gardens, and St. Joseph's Oratory could be easily reached since the hotel is close to a metro station (St. Laurent - green line). However, the building that houses the hotel is 200 years old and is considered a heritage building. There are many stairs and there are no lifts to get from the main floor to subsequent floors. Overall, if you're looking for a hotel that is centrally located and would not ruin your budget, this is the place to visit.

"Very Cute Hotel"
Very nice hotel with great amenities. Super hot day in the city but the room was very comfortably air conditioned. High ceilings and nicely kept. Just like the pictures.

"Okay Hotel with a Great Location"
Overall my stay at this hotel was good. The staff was very friendly and let us put our bags before and even hours after we checked out into a storage room. We had a cleaner come every day to change sheets and towels in our room, but they did not clean well enough and i always found the floor dirty. We were glad to at least have a mini fridge but we could cook any meals and always had to eat out.

"Great location. Spacious room. Restaurants!"
Great location in downtown. Close to many great restaurants, bars, Bell Centre, Fine Arts Museum and universities. Room was basic but clean and spacious with nice bathroom and very comfortable beds. Small frig, microwave, and coffee maker included plus all day coffee and tea in main lobby. Provided breakfast room was small and busy but rarely ran out and included hot food. Reasonable as these things go, not fancy, but can save time in the morning (open 6:30-9:30, would have preferred 10:00 but okay). Many Great restaurants nearby including Chez Le Mer Michel, and Europea (the ultimate dining experience, especially with the wine pairing)!! Bon apetite.
