« We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. « It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. « 12 stars!!! (Inside joke with the host.) The place was clean and spacious and the host was great. I brought my son here for his 29th birthday to hike the rocks. The cottage provided everything we needed including a spectacular view of Seneca Rocks. Centrally located to many areas of interest. I’ll definitely be back. »

« We visited family in WV and it was the perfect place to stay. Not too far from town (Petersburg), but felt remote and peaceful. It was very clean and had everything we could need. We made two dinners in the well-equipped kitchen. Sylvia was very responsive and helpful with questions. »

« Very clean property and everything we needed was there. Very easy check in and out process. Convenient location to Blackwater Falls and cute shops, galleries, and eateries within a couple minutes. Grocery store and convenience store are close as well. We stayed with our two boys, two dogs, and in-laws. The space was cozy, but plenty of seating and space to separate when we needed it. I would recommend this location and would happily stay again. »

The inside of the cabin is beautiful and has everything you need. The beds are comfy and the entire cabin is so comfortable. The cabin is remote but close to town. Rachelle is amazing.
